Introduction

Thanks to the generosity of the Chemistry Department, Chemical Engineering Department, and Science Library, we have a site license to ChemBioDraw Ultra 12.0 that will allow anyone at MIT to use this chemistry and biology drawing tool. Check out what's included in this software suite.

Installation

Go to  http://www.cambridgesoft.com/login/  to login to your CambridgeSoft Account.  If you don't have a CambridgeSoft Account yet, register first at http://www.cambridgesoft.com/register/Default.aspx using your MIT email address.

Once you have logged in:

  • Go to My Site License (right hand side under Services)
  • See Accessing Your Software in the middle of the screen and click "Download Site License Software".  This will take you to a page of links to download the software.
  • Choose the appropriate download link (PC or MAC version) and go ahead with the download.
  • The Serial Number and Registration Code (MACs only) will be emailed to you immediately. Look for an email (also in Spam folder) from customer_service@cambridgesoft.com. You will need this to complete the installation.
  • Complete the  installation using the serial number (and registration code)

If you have questions about installation, contact the Chemistry Librarian.
