How can I find out what I have checked out?
You can view your record online through Your Account. You are responsible, however, for keeping track of any books which have been checked out manually. (Some items do not have library barcodes and therefore cannot be checked out to your online account.) You can also visit any service desk to find out what you have checked out.

Do I need to notify the library when I move?
Yes, the library needs to receive updates on changes to your address, phone number or email. If you are MIT faculty, student or staff, it's best to update your contact information through SAPweb Self Service. We automatically receive those updates each business day. If you do not have access to SAP, please visit an MIT Libraries service desk.
What should I do if I lose my library card?
You should report it immediately to any library assistant to prevent unauthorized use of your card. Please contact an MIT Libraries service desk.
