Thesis Writer's Toolkit 

This toolkit is for graduate students with a thesis or research requirement in the social sciences, management, or combined management & engineering programs (LGO, MLOG, SDM).

Many resources and services are available through the MIT Libraries.  The toolkit serves as a starting point by highlighting resources for: 

• accessing research resources for literature reviews and other work

• citing and managing references with bibliographic software

• getting specs for thesis document submissions

• locating people & services that can help save time

For advice about the writing process itself, visit the MIT Writing & Communication Center.  Writing Center staff can help with:

• grammar and style
• organizing papers
• dealing with writer's block
• avoiding plagiarism
