Use SAE Mobilus to search for all Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) publications from 1906 - present.
After opening SAE Mobilus, use the search box to begin. Enter your search terms or SAE paper number. SAE Mobilus will be searching the full text of all the content in Mobilus. Change the drop down box to "Metadata Only" for a more precise search (paper title, author, abstract).
The default results display will show you papers from 1998 - present. These will include the PDFs of SAE papers (not other publishers, for example JSAE). To view citations for papers prior to 1998, click on "Non-subscribed". To find these papers in the MIT Libraries, see below.
If the steps outlined are too complicated, you can always Ask Us to find it for you. See also Using print indexes to find SAE papers in the MIT Libraries.
Use SAE Mobilus (MIT only) to locate the paper number you need. Papers published prior to 1998 will be found in the "Non-subscribed" section of the results.
