How can Courtney help you?
Courtney can help you find information in the fields of bioinformatics, biosciences, biology and medicine. Want to know better and quicker ways to search PubMed? Confused by the interconnected databases of NCBI? Courtney can help you!
As the Biosciences Librarian, Courtney helps students, faculty and research staff use bibliographic, full-text, and sequence databases to solve bioinformatics problems. She can recommend bioinformatics resources, programs, or databases for research questions. Students can consult with her when they are beginning their research process or experiments.
Courtney began her position at the MIT Libraries in the Fall of 2008 after spending 2 years as a National Library of Medicine Associate Fellow, on the NIH campus and at the MIT Libraries. She brings relevant knowledge and experience regarding bioinformatics and bioscience information tools.
