Beginning in November 2008 the Libraries launched a process for developing a desired future state for AMPS and the MIT Libraries.  Since then a Desired Future State has been created, and work has begun on designing the next generation research library organization – one of its key strategic directions.  This site provides the latest information on progress to date as well as background information, and a forum to provide input to the process.
