The Marketing Team focuses on Libraries-wide strategic marketing efforts. The team pursues an integrated marketing strategy, coordinating various communications channels (advertising and promotion, virtual/social media, outreach, public relations) to deliver clear and consistent messaging and raise awareness of Libraries' products, services, and events.
The team brainstorms new marketing ideas and offers support and guidance to all Libraries' departments. Libraries staff interested in promoting a product/service/event are encouraged to fill out the Marketing Request Form.
The Marketing Team was formed in August 2010 and is led by the Libraries' Marketing and Communications Officer. Team members contribute expertise from many areas including virtual marketing, outreach and relationship management, marketing research, distribution, and design.
