How can Anne help you?

Environmental chemistry, fluid mechanics, coastal engineering, environmental microbiology, hydrology and hydroclimatology, mechanics of materials and structures, geotechnical engineering and geomechanics, transportation, and operations research are the areas of focus within Anne’s collections, reference, outreach and instruction work as the MIT Libraries liaison to the Civil & Environmental Engineering Department.

Anne guides researchers interested in finding and using spatial data in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software, and teaches patent searching basics to the MIT community.


Anne has been a librarian with the MIT Libraries since 2002, and has worked in the GIS Lab in Rotch Library (7-238) since 2004.
