About MIT Libraries

MIT Libraries comprises six libraries, each with areas of subject expertise.

Dewey Library is the library for Management, Economics, Political Science, and related subjects.

Dewey is located in Building E53 (next to Sloan), on the first floor.  Dewey is open 7 days a week. Check our Hours page for specific times.

The Dewey Library for Management and Social Sciences is here to support your research and teaching goals while you are at MIT.  Most of the library services available to the MIT community are also available to you while you are a Visiting Fellow at MIT Sloan.

This website is a "crash course" in how to find the following essential resources at MIT:

  • Books and Theses
  • Databases and Electronic Journals
  • Journal Articles
  • How to cite your sources

MIT's librarians are also here to help you.  Please visit Ask Us! to request assistance at any time.
