Center for Research in Security Prices(CRSP) - (via WRDS)
The Center for Research in Security Prices (CRSP) maintains the most comprehensive collection of security price, return, and volume data for the NYSE, AMEX, and Nasdaq stock markets.
Compustat (via WRDS)
Compustat North America provides: annual and quarterly financial statement data (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Statement of Cash Flows, and supplemental data items) for most public companies in the U.S. and Canada. Annual data goes back to 1950 and Quarterly data goes back to 1962. Also, included are monthly (1962-) and daily (1983-) stock prices.
Refinitiv Workspace is the new name and interface for ThomsonONE database. To find analyst reports for a specific company (also known as sell-side, aftermarket, broker, or equity research), search by ticker symbol or company name in the top search box. Then, under News & Research menu, click on Company Research. Use filters on the left to refine your search. To screen for analyst reports based on a set of criteria, click on Research in the main menu. and follow the link to Advanced Research. Use filters on the left to refine your search by industry, geography, contributor, keywords in the text, and more.
Note: There is a daily limit of 150 pages for viewing and downloading analyst reports. This limit resets at 12:00 AM Eastern Time daily.
FitchConnect (formerly BMI Research)
Provides in-depth reports on 24 industries and 200 global markets, emphasizing emerging markets. Includes extensive country risk and credit ratings, macroeconomic analysis and forecasts, and financial analysis of debt and equity. Also profiles over 500 multinational companies and their subsidiaries, and intra-daily alerts on economic, industrial, and political developments, business deals, multinational joint ventures, and regulatory changes.
Provides profiles for industries in United States as well as a wide range of industries in China and Canada. Reports include industry performance, outlook, major companies, supply chain, demand drivers, cost structure, barriers to entry, and key statistics. You can search by NAICS code or by keywords.
S&P Industry Surveys
S&P industry surveys are available through our Capital IQ subscription under Research tab. Now produced by CFRA, these surveys have sections on industry trends, how the industry operates, key industry ratios and statistics, how to analyze a company in that industry, comparative company analysis, and more.
