Need a quick fact or more background reading on a topic?  The links below will take you to sources that cover the basics.

What Does the Library Have?

  • "Search our Collections" allows you to search across our catalog and multiple databases at once.  It's a good way to get a general sense of what resources are available.
  • Use Our Catalog to search for print and electronic books, scores, and recordings in MIT's collection.  The Advanced Search option will allow you to limit your search to e-resources.

Manage Your References and Organize Your Notes

Any of the these tools listed below can help you organize and cite your references. The Overview at the top of the list explains the strengths and weaknesses for each.
