The Nexus Technology: Plugging In The Lectern

Documentation on how to use the technology in the The Nexus for hybrid events.

Plugging In The Lectern

It is imperative that the lectern is plugged in properly when getting ready for an event.

The floorbox (where the cables are plugged in) and the cables connected to the lectern are both labeled and color labeled to assist with this process.

The most important thing to do is to plug in ethernet MIT NET cables first.

If you don't plug-in these first, it will break the internet connection of the lectern and it will require IT assistance to get back up and running. After the MIT NET cables are plugged in you can plug the other cables in any order you'd like, but again, the MIT NET cables need to be plugged in first. Below are images of both the cables and the floorbox.
