Lisa manages the Liaison, Instruction and Reference Services department, where she supports other librarians' work with the community.

Education/Experience:

Lisa has been working in the MIT Libraries in a variety of positions since 1997. Prior to MIT, she worked for the Center for Electronic Texts in the Humanities (CETH), and as acting museum librarian at the University of Pennsylvania. She has selected materials and provided research assistance in subjects including anthropology and archaeology, census data, foreign languages and literature, brain and cognitive sciences, and linguistics. She has undergraduate and graduate degrees in literature and literary theory, as well as a master's degree in library studies.
