How to report problems with internet connection

Reporting Network Problems

  • If you suspect a problem with the network (for example, if you are unable to get email or connect to the web) call the IT Infrastructure Team at 3-1617. If no one answers, leave a message and then send email to fix-lib if you have access to email.
  • It's fine to stop there but you may wish to consult IS&T's Systems Status page (or phone 3-DOWN if you have lost contact with the network) to see if MIT is already aware of the problem. ITDS staff will report any problems we are not able to resolve locally to IS&T.
