The Technology Planning, Integration, and Experience (TPIE) organization coordinates and delivers a broad portfolio of services, including
Project Management - manages IT projects and advances the practice throughout the Libraries; helping to research and evaluate emerging technologies
Portfolio Management- manages the work; ensures progress on commitments while reserving capacity for experimentation and purposeful innovation
IT Governance - oversight of transparent processes that ensure the portfolio remains appropriately focused, resourced, and responsive - coordinated through the IT Initiatives Group
Space Planning - leads the Libraries’ space planning projects including the development of a robust suite of technology-enhanced services within library spaces.
Service Design & Development - identifies, designs, and improves/creates technology rich services and business processes, and operationalizes them in a sustainable manner
User Experience and Web Services- applies UX methodologies and best practices to improve the user experience across systems and services, virtual interfaces, and physical library spaces; responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the Libraries’ web sites.
