Biography and Context
The links below will take you to sources that will provide overviews of your author, including some of the themes that permeate their work. Both contain more than just biographical information, including literary criticism and other kinds of resources.
- Gale Literature Resource Center (Gale Literary Databases)To limit your search to biographical essays, select the "Person - By or About" radio button and un-check everything except "Biographies" under "by content type."
- Literature Online (LION)To manage your search, select the "Authors" link under "search." Click on the link for your author on the next page, and then look for "Biography."
