Alex specializes in women’s history, U.S. constitutional history, and archival research. She can assist you with research and discuss the history of women at MIT, working with distinctive collections, and connect you with other expert librarians and archivists.
Alex joined MIT Libraries in 2019. Prior to MIT, she was an archivist for the Portman Archives, working with architectural archives, and the Our Mother’s Fund endowed graduate research assistant with Georgia State University’s Women, Gender and Sexuality Collections. In 2015, she was named the Ethel Woodruff Draper Research Fellow for her thesis, “The Politics of Protection: The Forgotten History of Georgia Feminists and Doe v. Bolton.”
