Matt can help you locate resources related to the history of Islamic civilization, including images of monuments or artifacts in museum collections.  You can also ask him about the archives and slide collections housed in the Aga Khan Documentation Center at MIT.

Education/Experience:

Before coming to MIT in 2017, Matt worked as a curatorial fellow in the Islamic Art Department of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and taught courses at Columbia University and Marymount Manhattan College. He studied Near Eastern languages and art history at University of Chicago.
