Changes for Spring 2020

Due to the Hayden Renovation, Course Reserves traditionally housed at Hayden will be housed at other MIT Libraries locations. Reserves materials will be split as follows:

 School of Engineering

  • No changes will be made to materials for courses not traditionally housed at Hayden Library.
  • Materials for Material Science and Engineering (Course 3), Chemical Engineering (Course 10), Biological Engineering (Course 20), and Nuclear Science and Engineering (Course 22) will be housed at Rotch Library

School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences

  • Materials for Theater Arts (21M) will be housed at Lewis Music Library
  • Materials for Anthropology (21A), Global Studies and Languages (21G), History (21H), Literature (21L), Writing (21W), Linguistics and Philosophy (Course 24), Comparative Media Studies (CMS), Science, Technology, and Society (STS), and Women's and Gender Studies (WGS) will be housed at Dewey Library

School of Science

  • Materials for Physics (Course 8) will be housed at Barker Library
  • Materials for Chemistry, (Course 5), Biology (Course 7), Brain and Cognitive Sciences (Course 9), Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences (Course 12), and Mathematics (Course 18) will be housed at Rotch Library

Other Hayden Reserves

  • Materials for other cross-departmental courses housed at Hayden will be housed at Dewey Library
    • includes Concourse (Course CC), Computation for Design and Optimization (Course CDO), Edgerton Center (Course EC), Engineering Management (Course EM), Experimental Study Group (Course ES), Health Sciences and Technology (Course HST), Institute for Data, Systems, and Society (Course IDS), Media Arts and Science (Course MAS), Operations Research (Course OR), Supply Chain Management (Course SCM), System Design and Management (SDM), and Special Programs (Course SP)
