Price Query Procedures
(Updated by M. Bailey 11/10/11)

When a price query is received from a vendor:

  • Check the Unit price in Aleph on tab “4. Quantity and Price.”
    • If the new price (will say "Actual Price" on slip) exceeds our estimated price by $50.00 or more, you must contact the selector for a decision to approve the new price or cancel the order.
    • If the selector approves the new price or the new price does not exceed our estimated price by $50.00 or more, then remove the Unit Price, Total Price, and List Price.
    • Enter the new price into the unit price only. Click “Refresh.”
