Monograph Acquisitions: Printing Aleph Daily Reports

Printing Aleph Daily Reports

(Last Updated 3/1/2010)

Customizations*:
You will need to set up some customizations before the instructions below will work.  See the “MonoAcq Aleph Print Daemon Customizations” Document, which is posted at the wiki: Aleph Print Daemons and other customizations for Monoacquisitions Staff for specific instructions.  Step 4 may be all that needs to be done.

Printer Setup:

Open printers and select the shared 5110 printer and right-click to change to “Set as Default” printer, which is the printer that sits in CAMS’ Map Cubicle:

In Aleph:

  • Open Task Manager
  • Select Print Daemon
  • Click on “Activate” button on the right.  Print job should run.

  • When print job is complete, click on “Deactivate” to turn off.

On PC:

  • Change Printer back to  your Desktop printer as Default.

*Adjusting Font Size:
If the font needs to be adjusted, follow these steps:

  • Open “Printers” on your PC and right click to select the appropriate printer
  • Right click and choose “Properties”
  • Select “Printing Preferences”
  • Choose “Detailed Settings” tab
  • Adjust Font % beside Scaling field (Currently set at 85% so single purchase orders print on one page only.)
