Microfilm
The barcode is placed in the center of the front of the box, at least ½ inch from the top edge, above the author/title label. If there is not sufficient space, then the barcode is placed below the author/title label.
Microfiche
Placement of barcode is random on the front of the first envelope, at least ½ an inch from the top edge. This will prevent the microfiche from becoming warped in the drawer.
