Basic Web Access: All current MIT students, faculty, and staff may access WRDS subscriptions via a web interface.

WRDS Research accounts are available to current faculty and doctoral students at MIT Sloan and the Department of Economics, to other MIT PhD students who are doing thesis research with Sloan or Economics faculty, and to students performing RA work with Sloan or Economics faculty.

To request an individual account, go to http://wrds-web.wharton.upenn.edu/wrds/. Click on "Register for a WRDS Account" and then fill in the required fields (use your MIT email address) and choose the appropriate type of account.  The account is created within minutes, after verification of user eligibility by STS Research Computing staff.

For more information about individual account access, including SSH and SAS access, please visit the Sloan Technology Services MySloan page (Sloan only).
