Resources at MIT

For the MIT Community:

  • Women and Gender Services provide support to all women-identifying students as well as non-binary students through student club support, programs, workshops, education, advocacy, and resources so students can be their whole selves to thrive at MIT.

  • Disabilities ERG is an employee resource group that provides a safe space for people with disabilities and their allies to share their stories and be heard, understood, and supported.

  • Disability and Access Services is part of the MIT Division of Student Life. Their mission is to enable an accessible campus experience by ensuring access for students with disabilities, which includes consulting on digital accessibility, assistive technology, and user experience.

  • The SA+P Disability and Planning Initiative is an enterprise of the Department of Urban Studies and Planning that aims to challenge planners and designers to radically rethink approaches to inclusivity in our cities and built environments. It provides the planning community with an opportunity to learn about and address ableism while encouraging participants to incorporate an accessibility lens into their work.

  • DoingWell provides the MIT community with resources to care for mind and body, foster meaningful relationships, and find purpose in all aspects of life. Developed by the Office of Student Wellbeing to empower students to prioritize their wellbeing journey.

  • Student Mental Health & Counseling Services works with students at MIT to identify, understand, and solve problems, and to help transform that understanding into positive action.
