Registration instructions for Refinitiv Workspace

Refinitiv Workspace

Refinitiv Workspace for StudentsRefinitiv Workspace (RWS) is the new name and interface for ThomsonONE.  RWS provides access to information on global public & private companies including financials and filings, news & corporate events, earnings estimates, price quotes, M&A transactions, PE/VC data, ESG  ratings, ownership data, and analyst reports. Screen and analyze companies, deals, PE/VC firms, funds, portfolio companies and more.

Step 1: Register for an account

Wait for the verification email and follow the link to complete the registration process (it may take a few minutes. Check your Spam folder if needed)


When registering for an account, complete all fields on the form including:

1. The Reference field: Select the appropriate category (Faculty/Staff, Masters, PhD or Undergraduate Student)

Select user level

 

2. Add-On: Select AMR for Students - USER LEVEL

This step enables access to analyst research reports (also referred to as aftermarket research).

Students:  select: AMR for Students

Faculty/Staff: select AMR for Academic Staff.

Select appropriate AMR User lLevel

Once registered, new users will receive a welcome email directly from Refinitiv (customerzone@refinitiv.com) containing access instructions. 

Step 2: Log-in to Refintiv Workspace

Registered users can access Refinitiv Workspace in two ways:

  1.  Refinitive Workspace WebAccess. Log-in using Chrome or Safari.
  2.  Refinitiv Workspace Desktop Application. You will receive the link to install the application in your welcome email. The desktop application includes the Refinitiv Workspace Excel plug-in.  Watch the Installing and Accessing Refinitiv Workspace tutorial.
