Use SAE Mobilus to search for all Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) publications from 1906-present.

• 1906 - present: SAE Technical Papers are available online in SAE Mobilus. 
• Current SAE Aerospace Standards are available online in SAE Mobilus. Current and historical Aerospace Material Specifications and Ground Vehicle Standards are also available in SAE Mobilus. See the standards guide for more information.
• Note: only SAE technical papers will be full text in SAE Mobilus.  This does not include other publishers or societies such as JSAE (Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan) or SAE Journals.

After opening SAE Mobilus, use the search box to begin.  Enter your search terms or SAE paper number.  SAE Mobilus will be searching the full text of all the content in Mobilus. You can change the drop-down box to "Metadata Only" for a more precise search (paper title, author, abstract) after doing a search on the homepage or clicking the Search tab.

The default results display will show you papers, standards, and other publications from 1906-present. This will include the PDFs of SAE papers (not other publishers, for example, JSAE).

If you see a padlock symbol in the upper right corner, the MIT Libraries do not have access to that publication through SAE Mobilus.  Ask Us for help with these items.
