This list of titles could be useful for browsing for titles ABOUT plays (as opposed to plays themselves). All of the titles contain the Library of Congress Subject Heading Theater -- Political aspects. It's a long list, so feel free to add other keywords to narrow it down. For example, adding a country will narrow the list considerably.

Play Index allows you to search for scripts based on multiple criteria. It doesn't include the scripts themselves, but it does include links to the catalog record if we have it in print, or to an electronic version if we have it in that format. If we don't have the script at all, there is an option for requesting it through interlibrary borrowing.

The collections below include electronic editions of plays. The titles should also appear in our online catalog (which will also include many additional scripts), but some of the search interfaces below might allow for different ways to search.
