Although the Lewis Music Library will not be open to the public this term, the staff are working hard to connect you to our resources. This guide will suggest some starting points. You will find additional information in the Music Research Guide.
Quick look up
Need a quick fact or more background reading on a topic? The links below will take you to sources that cover many different topics related to world music.
MIT Libraries catalog
BartonPlus is the default search option on the Libraries' home page. It's an excellent place to start, particularly if you do not already know a lot about your topic.
To see if MIT owns a particular item, or for a more focused search, use Barton Classic. Barton Classic is the best way to search for scores and/or recordings in MIT's collection.
