To search for SEC Filings: Go to Thomson One (IE browser required). Once logged in, at the menu at left, select Company Views, then select Filings -> Company Filings.
Thomson One is a platform for financial data from ThomsonReuters. MIT subscribes to the following types of information via Thomson One:
- Analysts' reports on companies and industries contributed by investment banks, brokerage houses, and research firms [sometimes referred to as Investext] (1982-present; note: some contributors embargo their most recent reports)
- Private equity and venture capital information, including details of deals and IPOs and profiles of funded companies, PE firms, funds, executives, and LP investors [sometimes referred to as VentureXpert] (1969-present)
The following information about public companies is also available via Thomson One on a limited basis:
- SEC Filings (1980s-present; includes 10K reports and other filings)
- Earnings Estimates (+/- 5 years from today)
- Comparables (most recent only; price & EV multiples, debt & key financial ratios)
- Mergers & Acquisitions Deals (recent only; involving public companies only; includes M&A, equity, bond, and loan deals)
- Share Ownership (current period only; summaries only)
- Executives (current only; includes compensation summaries and brief biographies)
