Funded by MIT Human Resources, the Libraries' Rewards and Recognition programs are a part of the Institute-wide initiative to recognize the contributions of employees within their respective organizational areas. The Libraries' Infinite Mile Program is a peer-recognition program, designed to award individuals and teams through the presentation of commendations and cash awards on an annual basis, for their contributions to the organization within four pre-established criteria categories. The Libraries' Spot Award Program provides an opportunity for staff to acknowledge and demonstrate immediate and spontaneous appreciation for one another's contributions and service. Gift certificates are "awarded" from a monthly drawing of personal thank you form submissions.
