About the Instruction Toolkit

This tool kit is intended for the use of MIT Libraries staff who are teaching a class, workshop, or seminar for the Libraries. It is maintained by the Teaching & Learning team..

The toolkit contains information on how to plan a workshop, instruction spaces, and shared teaching materials that anyone can contribute to.

Event Policies Fall 2022

If you are teaching an in-person class this spring, make sure to follow Libraries Teaching Guidelines and the Visitor Access Policy:

  • If you plan to include attendees who are not in covid pass and you will not be escorting them to the workshop, follow the procedure outlined in the Libraries Visitor Access Policy to request a Tim Ticket for them.
  • Masks are optional and food and drink can be served at events.
  • See MIT policies for the latest updates.
