As sponsors for resources in their subjects, selectors manage databases for their CoPs, including recommendations for renewals or cancellations. Journals are renewed centrally.
Selectors propose new journals, databases & other ongoing resources for their CoP to consider via Wish Lists. Orders are placed for titles that have been selected through group consensus.
Selectors learn about new journals and databases in various ways. Turnaway and ILB data can be used to identify journals needed by the MIT community. See the Selector Toolkit Analysis page for these reports.
