Administrative Services supports the MIT Libraries' mission and goals in the areas of Budget & Financial, Facilities & Operations, Personnel and Staff Services.

Building repairs/Requests for work

Emergencies- flood / broken glass

• Call the Customer Service Center at 3-4948 for emergency cleaning including floods, spills, minor safety hazards; please cc Maria Rodrigues (mariar@mit.edu) on all public space related emergencies.
• For broken glass or more serious building emergencies dial 3-4948
• Life safety emergencies should be directed to Campus Police:

Repairs, installations, and cleaning

• For routine public space repairs in Hayden, contact Sam Spencer to submit the work order.
• Annex, Barker, Dewey, and Rotch repairs should be processed through the Facilities Repairs & Installations link; please cc Sam Spencer and co-workers in your location on the work order.
• Staff space repairs should be processed through the Building Services tab in SAPweb or routed through the local Administrative Assistant.
• Routine cleaning requests should be requested through Atlas Service Request page here.

Special requests

• Special cleaning requests are processed through SAP. Please contact your administrative assistant to facilitate this for you.
• Requested work such as carpentry, rubbish removal, paint etc. are processed through SAP. Please contact your administrative assistant to facilitate this for you.
